The 5 Accidentals:
1. A#/Bb
2. C#/Db
3.D#/Eb
4.F#/Gb
5.G#/Ab
Important thing to know about the accidentals:
- The Accidentals are all the black notes on the piano.
- There are 5 Accidentals in total.
- Each accidental has two names, one by raising the note below it with a Sharp (#) and one by lowering the note above it with a Flat (b). See diagrams below.
If we sharp (#) or raise an F we get F#:
If we flat (b) or lower a G we get Gb:
