Chord Quality

Chord Quality-  in musical terms, refers to the different chord types there are.

There are 5 major chord qualities that a chord can be:

1. Major
2. Minor
3. Diminished
4. Augmented
5. Suspended

All the chords belonging to a specific Quality will be constructed with the same formula and will also contain the same sound or flavor.
