This is the E minor form pentatonic scale shape. Don’t forget that the red colored notes are highlighting the E minor chord form notes contained in the scale.
Make sure to play it like this to start. Then move on to more complex ways in order to know the scale inside and out. Playing it up and down is only the 1st step in a long journey.
Make sure to:
- pay attention to fingerings!!!
- Outline where the root notes are at the end.
- be able to play it with a steady rhythm using your metronome.
